Evidence of learning

20 Mar

I really like this idea of asking students at the end of the session/week to write down one thing they’ve learned on a collaborative poster so by the end of the year they’ve built up evidence of their learning. If you have one poster per class you can reflect upon what the individual classes have learned to inform future planning.

This would be a useful resource to review and consolidate learning in addition to providing future information for new students on what they’ll be learning during the year. In the sample they’ve aimed for listing 100 key points learned but you can adjust it to any number depending on your specific curriculum and teaching time.

I'd like to hear from you
